I have received a request from a trader in High St to remind children after school to be careful riding scooters and bikes on the footpath. Apparently, there was a very near miss with an elderly person recently. We will remind students at school to be extra careful of pedestrians, please also remind your children at home. We certainly want to encourage children to be active and ride safely to and from school, but we need to be mindful of others at the same time.
This year our student reports will look a little different. We are aiming to make the reports as informative as possible, while minimising large sections of text. Reports will be sent home in the final week of term. In the future we are aiming to keep the reports digital where possible and will look into emailing reports, unless a paper copy is requested.
A friendly reminder:
Please remember when depositing money into Yackandandah Primary School’s Official Bank Account to always reference family or child’s name and if possible, a description/reason of payment
e.g. Smith/Hot lunch or Smith/Excursion
Thank you.
