On Thursday 14th July F1C and F1R students were invited to see a Dinosaur Exhibit held by the Melbourne Museum at the Osbornes Flat Hall.
We might have to invest in a bigger trophy cabinet after a very successful Winter Sports Carnival on Friday 15th July. Our Grade 3-6 students fielded a number of teams in several sports, including netball, football, soccer and tee-ball.
On Tuesday 31st May, around 60 students from years 3 and 4 took part in a second series of workshops related to this term’s science unit, “Home Among the Gum Trees”.
On Monday 30th May, approx. 113 students from 3/4/5/6, eight staff and three parent helpers travelled to Shepparton to visit the new Shepparton Art Museum, known as SAM. It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to experience a state-of-the-art public space embedded with art!
On Thursday the 14th July, 8 students represented the school at the Victorian State Cross Country Championships in Yarra Glen. Congratulations to all of the students who represented the school so well!
On 28th-29th April students particiapted in a STEM incursion from Young Engineeers. The activity centred around the students using a wide range of technic Lego and other technology and computer based equipment.
On Wednesday the 2nd March, 11 students represented the school at the Hume Region Swimming Championships in Shepparton. The Hume Region includes four school divisions: Goulburn Murray, Ovens and Mitta, The Ranges and Upper Hume.
On Friday the 25th February, 12 riders participated in the Victorian MTB Interschools at Falls Creek! The race was XCO format, which stands for Cross Country Olympic. This means it is a multi lap, off-road race with all riders starting at the same time in a mass start.
