From the Principal

Next week our Yr.5/6 students, staff and a few parent volunteers are heading to Canberra for their camp. They will visit many of the Canberra institutions, learning more about Australia’s governmental processes and history. I’m sure they will make the most of this opportunity.

Thanks to Hannah and the hot lunch volunteers for their work preparing delicious Friday meals for the school. We appreciate your work!

Please remember to label jumpers, hoodies and other items of school clothing with your child’s name. This will help us get lost items back to their rightful owners. There is a fabric marker available at school if you would like to label at the time of purchase.

From the Office

Attendance
Just a reminder to families that even though you are putting the attendance note onto compass, you still physically need to come into the office and sign your child/ren in or out. This helps us keep accurate note of who is onsite at any time in case of an emergency.
The attendance note doesn’t submit their arrival or departure, it is just a note to state why they were late or having to leave school early.
If you have any questions, please contact the office.

Hot Lunch

This week's Hot Lunch is Fried Rice.
This is always one of the busiest lunches. We hand out lots of second serves and sometimes thirds and fourths!

A big thanks to everyone that has volunteered to help with Hot Lunch duty this term. There are still a lot of slots to fill (marked in yellow), please reach out if you are able to help.
No experience needed, just a WWCC. We love to have new faces in the kitchen, and we'll send you home with a delicious lunch to say thank you :)

Skiing 2025

Despite the mild autumn we are having this year, fingers are crossed that things will cool down soon and snow will start falling!
Information about our 2025 ski program (plus a survey link) was emailed to all of the 5/6 families earlier this week. Please read this information carefully and fill in the survey by NEXT FRIDAY 16th MAY to help us move the planning forward. We need indicative numbers so we can finalise our budget and work out the cost to families.

With thanks – Robyn and Earle
