Indigo Shire Council is making some alterations to the parking in Wellsford St outside the school. There is a section between two trees where there is an access ramp to the footpath for disabled and delivery access. This section equates to approximately three parking bays. This area will now be designated as a pickup/drop off point only. Meaning two minute maximum parking. The area will have signs like this one to mark the space. I expect the signs to be in place soon.

District Cross Country
On Tuesday, 20th May, 51 of our students represented the school at the District Cross Country event held in Beechworth. It was a fantastic day, with ideal warm weather, clear blue skies, and dry conditions.
The course proved to be a tough challenge, with 2km and 3km tracks that featured plenty of variation to keep runners on their toes — including a demanding "bush bash" through the scrub!
Congratulations to all our students for their enthusiastic participation. Your commitment to the event and demonstration of our school values — especially through encouraging and supporting one another — made us proud.
Thank you to all the parents who supported the District Cross Country event by driving students to and from Beechworth and assisting the event organisers when needed — your help was very much appreciated!
A big congratulations to the 25 students who qualified for the Division Cross Country by finishing in the top 10 of their events at District. This next stage will be held at Willow Park, Wodonga on Friday, 30th May, with marshalling beginning at 12:00pm and the event concluding at approximately 2:20pm.
A bus has been booked for all qualifying students. Permission forms will be sent home today and need to be returned by Tuesday, 27th May. Please note that a $10 cost applies to all students, regardless of whether they travel by bus or private transport.
Students are welcome to bring their own lunch. A sausage sizzle and drinks will also be available for purchase. If your child would like to buy food or drinks, please ensure they bring money in a clearly named bag.
I will be attending the event to supervise and support our students, and to ensure they are ready and present for marshalling. We’re looking forward to another fantastic day — don’t forget to keep training and stay prepared!
Well done!
Robyn
