From the Principal

Spring is now with us, and the UV index is rising. Students will be required to wear their school hats when outside beginning next week. To be consistent hats are required regardless of the weather conditions. Students without hats will be directed to a shaded area for the duration of break times. School hats are available for purchase at the office. Please remember to ensure that all hats are named as they can easily end up in lost property.

Well done students, staff and parent helpers on the skiing program this year. Especially to Robyn Wilson for managing the planning and logistics. As you can imagine there is a huge amount of planning, risk management, budgeting and negotiating with various service providers to make ski trips happen. It couldn’t happen without the support of the parents who contribute their time, or the staff who give theirs. We have been very impressed with the students and the way in which they have grasped the opportunity and behaved in such a positive and mutually supportive manner. Well done all.

The swimming program begins next week. The classes participating next week are 3/4R, 5/6B, 5/6L, 1/2H, 3/4C & 1/2A. Please ensure your child has the necessary swimwear and any other gear required. The students will travel by bus to the swimming at the Leisure Centre in Wodonga.

Hot Lunch

This week's Hot Lunch was Beef/Veggie & Rice Burritos.

Only two more Hot Lunches to go this term!

Thanks to everyone who has helped run another busy term of lunches. We have had a few fun parent-child combinations in the kitchen over the last few weeks, especially power duo Kim and Hunter Wall, and Kate and Grace Scobie, who lovingly created a colour-coordinated bowl mountain during wash up a couple of weeks ago.

We are still short for helpers on the final day of term, September 19 (yellow). Please reach out if you can help out.
